We are all aware that a substantial portion in the North and North-East part of Bangladesh is affected with severe flood now. The misery of millions of people is mounting every moment. Many people have lost their lives, houses and other belongings have been destroyed and washed away, communication system has been disrupted, lack of food and drinking water is everywhere in the affected areas. These people are our countrymen, our parents, brothers & sisters, children, relatives, friends, neighbors. While flood water is going down, these fighting people are getting ready to re-build everything and move on in life.
MECA is requesting for humanitarian assistance for flood victims from all solvent ex-cadets of all batches of MCC in the form of both cash or kind. In case, someone is interested donating in cash, please deposit to the following MECA account, which was opened for welfare purposes:
