Dear MECA Members Home and Abroad;
As-salamu-alaikum and hope you all are taking preparation to observe the holy month of Ramadan.
This message is to draw the kind attentions of all MCC ex-cadets irrespective of religions we follow.
You all are aware that last year, MECA EC collected Taka 4 lacs (+/-) from different MCC batches / individuals, purchased grocery items, which were distributed among 215 nos. of 3rd and 4th class staffs members at MCC. It was a very successful program arranged by MECA EC in collaboration with MCC Authority. It was highly appreciated by all the beneficiaries and their family members at MCC. Few snapshots of last year’s distribution program at MCC is attached herewith for your views.
MECA EC has decided to repeat the program this year. As such, on behalf MECA EC, I am requesting all batches / individual ex-cadets come forward whole-heartedly and pay a portion of your annual give-away fund for poor / under-privileged segment of the society to MECA Welfare Account as stated below:

Like last year, with the collected fund, MECA EC will buy grocery packs for 3rd & 4th class employees of MCC (current and retired but reside around MCC campus), which will reduce their financial load to a large extent during upcoming Eid festival. EC targets 25th Ramadan as the cut-off date of fund collection and 27th Ramadan as the date of distribution.
Let us all try to participate with the best of our ability, which will bring priceless smiles to many families & individuals at our beloved MCC, thus making this initiative a success.
