A. 17 Sep 2018, MECA Office, Mohakhali Dhaka – MECA signed a Memorandum of Agreement with MECANA in a delightful atmosphere, by which MECANA has become the first official Chapter of MECA in any overseas country / region. With the MoA signed, it puts a happy ending of the discussion being carried out in between the fraternity members for some time and clears all hurdles of cooperation between the two organizations towards development of our beloved Alma Mater – Mirzapur Cadet College.
MECA President, Shamsul Ahsan Kamal and MECANA President, Shafiq Chaudhuri signed the contract on behalf of respective organizations. During the contract signing, EC Members of MECA & MECANA and few senior MECA members were present. The program was followed by dinner, courtesy by MECA.
B. 18 Sep 2018, Mirzapur Cadet College, Tangail – gifted by MECANA brothers, an air-conditioned computer lab furnished with 50 nos latest model laptops including pre-loaded Khan Academy e-learning software was jointly inaugurated by MECA President, Shamsul Ahsan Kamal and MECANA President, Shafiq Chaudhuri. During the program, MECA & MECANA Delegation exchanged views with cadets and faculty members on the best use cases of the lab and benefits out of it. Apart from MCC Principal, VP, Adjutant, MO and other faculty members, former MECA President, Brig. Gen. SMS Iqbal (retd), MECA GS, Shah Ahmedul Kabir and MECANA VP-Canada Sami Afzal were also present.
Later, MECANA President, Shafiq Chaudhuri made a presentation on Bangabondhu 1 Satellite in front of MCC Management, faculty members and cadets at the college auditorium. MCC authority hosted a lunch at MCC guest house in honor of MECA – MECANA delegation.
